MEANING OF SPAM:

In simple terms spam (unsolicited commercial e-mail, unsolicited bulk e-mail, mass e-mail, junk e-mail) is a message that advertises goods or services that you send to someone without their prior consent or in the absence of a previous relationship (including newsgroup, IRC channel, or forum/message board postings unrelated to the topic of discussion of the particular newsgroup, channel, or message board).

In situations where it is not clear whether an action of yours will be considered as spamming or not, but it feels like it can be considered spamming, then it probably is. For example, buying thousands of email address to send them your promotion will be considered as spam because the person selling those addresses has most probably used an illegitimate method of collecting those addresses, even though he claims that those people have opted-in to receive the messages.

WHY SPAMMING IS BAD:

Spam not only damages the reputation of the company being promoted, but also creates a lot of problems for it including being blacklisted by various organizations like their ISP's. If you really like a program and want to benefit from it for the long term, then it is also not in your own interest to use spamming as your promotional method. You can do some searching on Google for "internet marketing" techniques to learn legitimate promotional methods or contact our Affiliate Support Team for help with your promotions.

MoneyList Profits strictly prohibits the use of spamming to promote your MLP affiliate website. We will not tolerate spam and will terminate the account of any affiliate or member who violates our anti-spam policy.
